Story
These wine stoppers are the tiny version of the Chane mask and they were created in the deep forest in Salta, Argentina by the Chané tribe.

In the Chané culture, they are used in the Ceremonia del Arete. This  Arete Ceremony is considered to be a party attended by the living and the dead. And these masks prevent people from being harmed by a deceased relative who, out of longing, tries to kidnap the soul of one of their loved ones. They are not only used as a caution method, but also they add a playful nature to these ceremonies where they prevent the attendees from being uncovered in their true personality.

To create it, they use silk floss wood and natural pigments to paint it. Made entirely by hand.

Everything is done directly with the artisans.
